Accessibility statement (US · ADA)
Last updated: 2026-06-10
ImportDutyUSA is committed to making its content usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
What we do
- Semantic structure — pages use real headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate the content in a logical order.
- Keyboard access — all interactive elements (links, the tool filter, and accordions) are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, and a "skip to content" link is provided at the top of every page.
- Contrast and text — color combinations are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios, and text resizes without breaking the layout.
- Reduced motion — animations are suppressed for visitors who set the "prefer reduced motion" preference in their operating system.
Known limitations
This is an actively maintained independent site. Some embedded third-party content (for example a future analytics or advertising provider) may not be fully under our control. Where we identify a barrier we work to remove or provide an accessible alternative.
Feedback and contact
